Our house of the day is a beautiful 3800 sqft canal house in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is located on one of the most desirable canals of the old town, Keizersgracht (translation: the emperor’s canal), and is a few steps from the renowned Utrechtstraat, famous for its shops and restaurants.

With multiple renovations conducted in the past 20 years, this single family house – which dates back to 1697 – is now fully adapted to the 21st century. Spread over five floors, it includes an AC-controlled wine cellar, three sitting rooms on the second floor (the main floor), between the canal and the back garden, and plenty of fine bedrooms for a large family.

The long and narrow garden, with a cute house in the back, in the right addition for summer dinners in the Dutch capital. Overall, it’s beautiful, old, narrow and full of stairs – a true dutch canal house.

The house is offered at 4.6mE. See the details, the floorplan and more pictures here.
